The European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF 2026) has officially concluded at Dexcom Stadium in Galway, Ireland. Under this year’s central theme, “Building Europe’s AI and Data Backbone,” the flagship event served as an outstanding gathering for key decision-makers, researchers, and enterprise leaders across the European data and artificial intelligence ecosystem.
Representing MOSAICO project on-site, our partners Lina Silveira and Anne-Florence Harpon from F6S Innovation engaged directly with attendees, policy makers, and technology innovators at the main exhibition area under the F6S Innovation umbrella.
Driving European synergies & strategic networking
For MOSAICO, participating in EBDVF 2026 was a prime opportunity to connect directly with the broader research and industrial ecosystem. Over two days of active discussions, Lina and Anne-Florence focused on:
- Building ecosystem synergies: Connecting with peer Horizon Europe initiatives, data space platforms, and technology leaders to explore future collaborative opportunities and cross-project knowledge transfer.
- Policy & Industry dialogue: Exchanging valuable perspectives with policy makers, enterprise decision-makers, and software engineering experts interested in trustworthy AI solutions.
- Strategic European alignment: Positioning MOSAICO’s vision within ongoing discussions around secure, governed, and reliable AI backbones for Europe.
“Connecting directly with policy makers, enterprise leaders, and developers at EBDVF has demonstrated a clear industrial demand for trustworthy AI frameworks. It was an incredible opportunity to meet the key actors in our ecosystem and discuss how European software engineering is evolving towards governed, high-performing AI communities.”

Looking Ahead
The strong engagement at EBDVF 2026 underscores the growing momentum behind trustworthy AI and governed multi-agent ecosystems across Europe. The connections and insights gained in Galway will help nourish MOSAICO’s upcoming community initiatives, open-source activities, and stakeholder workshops as the project progresses!
