Our team is heading to Munich to participate in the 1st International Workshop on Agentic AI for Next-Generation Software Development (AgenticDev 2026), taking place October 12–16, 2026, in Munich, Germany!

The MOSAICO project consortium is heading to Munich for the 1st International Workshop on Agentic AI for Next-Generation Software Development (AgenticDev 2026), held from October 12 to 16, 2026, alongside ASE 2026 – the 41st IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering.

Co-inspired by MOSAICO and sister projects AI4SWEng, ASTIR, and HIVEMIND), AgenticDev 2026 gathers researchers and industry leaders to explore how collaborative AI agent communities are reshaping the software engineering lifecycle.

Following a successful peer-review process, MOSAICO researchers will present several accepted research papers during the workshop sessions. The team will showcase key scientific and technical advances developed within the project, including:

Following the peer-review selection process, MOSAICO researchers will present three papers during the workshop sessions:

  • MOSAICO: A Multi-Agent Infrastructure for Collaborative LLM-Powered Software Engineering(University of York): Demonstrates our role-based agent infrastructure (Reference, Collaboration, Solution, Supervision, and Consensus Agents) and the AI Software Protocol (AISP), showcasing collaborative multi-agent workflows across metamodeling, UML generation, and code documentation.
  • Towards Model-Driven Generation of Domain-Specific Modelling Agents for Local Language Models(University of York): Evaluates a model-driven approach that generates “thinking-in-code” agents (leveraging Smolagents and Pydantic), enabling smaller local LLMs (14–31B parameter range) to execute structured domain modeling and self-repair loops with accuracy competitive with frontier models.
  • Defining and Deploying Agentic Swarms with the BESSER Low-Code Platform(Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, University of Luxembourg): Presents an end-to-end model-driven pipeline integrated into the open-source BESSER low-code platform to model, generate, and automatically deploy executable agentic swarms to Docker environments.
