As one of France’s leading engineering schools, IMT Atlantique brings a unique combination of academic excellence, research leadership, and innovation capacity to the MOSAICO project. With solid experience in large-scale European collaborations, the team is contributing to the advancement of AI-powered tools for software engineering through both technical expertise and strategic project coordination.
What is IMT Atlantique working on in MOSAICO?
In MOSAICO, IMT Atlantique plays a central role in both the technical development and the overall coordination of the project:
- The team is leading Work Package 1 – Project Management and Coordination, ensuring the smooth and transparent execution of the project’s activities.
- They are also highly involved in the design of orchestration mechanisms for AI agents within the MOSAICO platform (Work Package 3), contributing their expertise in model-driven engineering and AI for software systems.
Meet the faces behind the project

Zhanna Zhussupova – EU funding specialist, Project Manager
Zhanna supports researchers in both crafting successful project proposals and managing the implementation of funded projects. In MOSAICO, she leads the Work Package on Management and Coordination, ensuring that the consortium remains aligned, efficient, and strategically focused throughout the project’s lifetime.
“From the very first project meeting, it became clear that the MOSAICO consortium united the best partners to make the project’s ambition a reality. Each of the participants brings unique expertise and personal qualities, creating an efficient and friendly working environment.” Zhanna Zhussupova
Massimo Tisi – Full Professor in Software Engineering, Head of Naomod Research Team
Massimo leads the Naomod research team, specialising in generative software and systems engineering. With a strong background in model-driven engineering and experience from EU projects like Lowcomote, he brings valuable insight to Work Package 3, focusing on the orchestration of AI agents. His contributions span several AI-based tools for software engineering, covering symbolic AI, generative AI, deep graph learning, and reinforcement learning.
